Accountability ☝️

Hello again (or for the first time). Welcome to another eye-opening(let your eyes open o😂) episode on the MOASS blog. Before we dive into today's topic, I want to say a happy birthday to two special friends/sisters of mine : Joan and Jessica Onotu. They are amazing and I pray that God blesses them immensely. ACCOUNTABILITY!!!! That word is one that makes many uncomfortable. "How can I give someone else the right to call me to order?" I imagine in our society, based on the construct that men find it harder to submit themselves to the authority of someone else. My brothers, listen carefully, YOU ARE NOT PERFECT, YOU NEED TO BE ACCOUNTABLE TO SOMEONE. This is not because you are weak but it makes you stronger and safer. This not-so-secret secret is very key to maintaining purity and sanity in our Christian walk. I encourage everyone to have at least one accountability partner to unburden to. When you have struggles of any kind, after talking to God to help, you should pr

God Father or God the Father?🙌

Hello peeps! How y'doing (go back and read that with a cooler accent 👀👀). I hope you are good. Last week was draining but God kept me and this week He will keep us in perfect peace in Jesus' name. Quick question: In whom do you trust? Before you rush to give me a religious answer like "God" or "Jesus" or "the Godhead", pause and think deeply. Who is that person that you think about and you are suddenly at peace concerning troubling situations? Another thing to think deeply about. My friend if your honest answer to any of those questions is anyone but God, you are setting yourself up for disappointment. What is this Nathaniel guy saying now? Nothing really but read this: This is what the Lord says: “Bad things will happen to those who put their trust in people. Bad things will happen to those who depend on human strength. That is because they have stopped trusting the Lord. Jeremiah 17:5 ERV I put it in the ERV for easier understanding. It&

Freedom of Choice Vs Freedom From Choice👀

Hello once again and welcome to another week. I'm glad you could make it here despite all odds. God is still in control. I just feel the need right now to remind somebody(maybe You) that our GOD is worthy of His name. Without further delay, I would like to discuss a matter that may or may not be sensitive to you. Essentially it's about the fallacy of the freedom that we have in Christ. Many people believe that the freedom Christ offers is freedom from choice but au contraire it is freedom OF choice not FROM it. What is this guy on about today? I'm talking about the fact that surrendering your life to Christ does not somehow remove or wipe away the burden and responsibility of Choice. It would be nice if as we said the sinner's prayer, sin and temptation died to us and we did not have any choice to make but THAT IS NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN(not on this side of eternity for sure). Jesus came to restore the power of choice. While a slave to sin, you had no choice. You had

Got Doubts? No Problem😁

Heyyy there! I'm glad you made it here despite all odds. I hope you had an amazing weekend and look forward to a great week because it will be great in Jesus' name. Today we get real again! We're talking "doubts" o. I don't know about you but when I was much younger I had my doubts about God's existence and His interest in humanity was a strange thing to me. His love for me that led to His death for me even seemed more unfathomable. "But now you are more mature so you have no doubts yeah?" Answer is NO. There were times even recent ones where I had to ask myself if God truly is all He says He is; all they say He is. You probably have or will experience those times and you may be tempted to entertain guilt but let me show you some scripture When John was in prison, he heard about the things that were happening—things the Messiah would do. So he sent some of his followers to Jesus. They asked him, “Are you the one we have been expecting, or sho
