God Father or God the Father?πŸ™Œ

Hello peeps! How y'doing (go back and read that with a cooler accent 👀👀). I hope you are good. Last week was draining but God kept me and this week He will keep us in perfect peace in Jesus' name.

Quick question: In whom do you trust? Before you rush to give me a religious answer like "God" or "Jesus" or "the Godhead", pause and think deeply.

Who is that person that you think about and you are suddenly at peace concerning troubling situations? Another thing to think deeply about.

My friend if your honest answer to any of those questions is anyone but God, you are setting yourself up for disappointment.

What is this Nathaniel guy saying now? Nothing really but read this:

This is what the Lord says: “Bad things will happen to those who put their trust in people. Bad things will happen to those who depend on human strength. That is because they have stopped trusting the Lord.
Jeremiah 17:5 ERV

I put it in the ERV for easier understanding. It's quite simple, IF YOU PUT YOUR TRUST IN ANYONE BUT THE LORD, BAD THINGS WILL HAPPEN. In Him alone MUST we trust.

So if you trust in men to get you that job, your parent to choose a spouse for you, a friend for help with your grades, even yourself for anything, bad things will happen. Can you trust yourself to wake tomorrow morning? NO!!

Others may have things they put their faith in but YOU as God's child must trust our Father, God.

Some trust in chariots and others in horses, but we depend on the Lord our God.
Psalms 20:7 NET

Chariots and horses may translate to a good education, a good spouse, good upbringing, good life choices made etc. Some trust in those things but remember that those are NOT the source, they are REsources that God has used, uses and will use to get you to where He wants you to be.

Father help us to trust you in Jesus' name (amen)

Thanks for reading! Have an amazing week😁😁 .
