The Baptism

Hellooooooooooo good evening. I hope you had an amazing week and weekend. It's a new week; the last week of October and it's time to get things done!. Today, we discuss "the baptism". Now I'm sure you're wondering or guessing at which baptism I mean. You probably only know of two kinds. Well there are actually three: baptism into the body of Christ (first step), the baptism by immersion and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The agents are the Holy Spirit, the man of God and Jesus Himself respectively. Now that we've got a brief introduction on baptism, let's narrow the scope of our discussion. The baptism we'll look at today is the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Recently I've heard plenty on the subject and I thought to share. When you read the book of Acts, you see the beginning of the regime of the Holy Spirit here on earth. There's also reference to Jesus telling them of the power they would receive when the Holy Spirit is(was) come upon t

He's Mindful of You

Heyy there! It's a new week and I hope you're looking forward to smashing your goals and hitting new highs (as you should 😊). During the week, a friend of mine replied a message I had sent much earlier and expressed dissatisfaction at how after he left only one of the members of our group reached out to see how he was faring πŸ˜”. Unbeknownst to him, we had been mindful of him, discussed how we missed him and maybe even said a prayer for him once or twice and that was what the Holy Spirit picked up on and got me to write to YOU about. So here my friend was thinking we didn't care whereas we did. We all should have reached out no doubtπŸ‘€ but our failure to do that did not mean we did not care. However his not knowing this made him feel a certain type of wayπŸ˜”. Many of us feel abandoned at certain points in time; we feel like no one cares because we can't "see" the care or "feel" the love. Well my friend the truth is our feelings almost NEVER represe

Knowing His Voice 😊

Heyy heyy! Welcome to this week's post 😎. I hope you had an amazing weekend  and are excited to smash your goals this week! This week we're discussing a key issue; an issue pivotal to the Christian living this life (I don't believe there's such a thing as a separate "Christian" life because that suggests there's another kind which in the truest sense there isn't πŸ‘€). It's  something you've probably heard over and over or maybe you haven'tπŸ€”. No matterπŸ‘€. Today we're discussing "Knowing His Voice ". The "His" of course refers to "God's ". God's desire for us is fellowship and intimacy with Him and I know for a fact that there cannot be any of such without communication. Communication is always a two-way thing (at least). At any given time, someone gives information and the other(s) receive(s).  Communication with God is no different.  I know you're well aware how we talk to God so I'll sp

Empty: My Depression Experience

Heyy there! I'm glad you're here and I hope you had a fantastic week/weekend. Get ready for an awesome week!!!πŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒ. I wrote in my first post "The W-H-Y" (if you haven't read it, go, check it out,be blessed and thank me later😎) that this blog would hold posts on material of inspiration (from the Holy Spirit) as well as experience (only mine for nowπŸ‘€) and so we have come to one of my memoirs. Have you ever felt so empty? Like your life had no meaning and your death would be more impacting than your life could ever be? If so my friend then you are in good company. Maybe you even feel or think that way right now. Before you do anything rash, finish reading this as it holds my recent  depression experience and how God rescued me. Where it all began I have no clue but as far as I can trace perhaps the last Friday in September (the Friday before last). I attended a vigil and then the following day (Saturday) still very tired headed to church for what would be the m

Independence For/From What?πŸ€”

Heyy heyy heyy!!!! Good evening! It's a new month! and a new year for Nigeria!(yayyyyyy us!). I had a much deserved day of rest today (mehn I was tired😩) so it's highly likely I haven't wished you a happy independence dayπŸ˜†. Happy Independence day to my Nigerian readers πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ It's a time to be thankful to our God for all He's done for us individually and especially as Nigeria. It's been Him alone!😭. On to business! So as you're already aware, today's Independence day and so our discussion is in that spiritπŸ’ƒ. As a matter of fact, my initial title was "Why Independence?πŸ€”". That may not be the title now but we're still headed in that directionπŸ›«. The world celebrates independence whether it be national or personal, yes?. You may never have thought deeply about it and may not even know why so allow me to enlighten you a bit. You may want to write this down πŸ˜† "The essence or necessity of independence stems from the unreliability of
