He's Mindful of You

Heyy there! It's a new week and I hope you're looking forward to smashing your goals and hitting new highs (as you should 😊).

During the week, a friend of mine replied a message I had sent much earlier and expressed dissatisfaction at how after he left only one of the members of our group reached out to see how he was faring 😔. Unbeknownst to him, we had been mindful of him, discussed how we missed him and maybe even said a prayer for him once or twice and that was what the Holy Spirit picked up on and got me to write to YOU about.

So here my friend was thinking we didn't care whereas we did. We all should have reached out no doubt👀 but our failure to do that did not mean we did not care. However his not knowing this made him feel a certain type of way😔.

Many of us feel abandoned at certain points in time; we feel like no one cares because we can't "see" the care or "feel" the love. Well my friend the truth is our feelings almost NEVER represent reality. The fact that you don't feel loved at time T doesn't mean that some magical vacuum cleaner sucked out all the love people have for you. It's simply not the case.

Having accepted that you'll always be loved and cared for even when it doesn't seem like it, let's assume that in some strange turn of events you're not loved or cared for by people at all (highly improbable😎), you must find solace in the fact that there's a God, THE GOD that cares for you and loves you so much. He knows your name and HE! said (no be me talk am👀) that He has inscribed your name on the palms of His hands.

He will never leave you nor forsake you.  You may not even be in a place where you feel unloved right now but if and when you do, remember that God CANNOT and WILL NOT forget you or stop loving you.

Just look what He has to say:

“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!  See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.
Isaiah 49:15‭-‬16 NIV

Isn't that just wonderful? Simply reassuring isn't it?😊

Abba, we worship You for Your presence, love and care that are with us regardless of how we feel. We love you so much even when we don't feel like we do. We ask that you help us to know always that You love us and are mindful of us. Help us Lord to be mindful of You too as this would be of immeasurable value to our personal walk(s) with You. Keep us and make us more like You each day. This is our desire and so our prayer today in Jesus' name(amen)

Respect the Anointing

Heyyy folks, welcome to an unusual discussion at an unusual time of the week too👀. I hope your week has been good so far. I bet if anything came to mind when you saw the topic of today's post, it was "we must respect men of God" or "the anointing you don't respect cannot work for you". Those are good and true but not today's context. Today I'm asking you to respect the anointing on YOUR life. Every child of God has an anointing on their life. You are the anointed of God as long as you have professed Christ's Lordship in your life. Many christians live less than fulfilling lives because they walk ignorant of the anointing and its purpose. God wants to use us (YOU reading this and ME) for amazing things in this world: To heal the sick, raise the dead, to restore, to build, to demolish amongst other things.
