Mind Your Mind 👀

Heyy folks! It's your boy Nathaniel again😂. I hope you had a lovely week and weekend. Happy Children's Day to all children and Happy Democracy day in advance to my Nigerian readers.

There's something about the mind that's so important folks, so so so important. Your mind is quite simply the compass of your life. It determines the direction in which you go. This applies in every way I can think of honestly.

The battle of good and evil; light and darkness; God and satan is not gonna take place in the sky every morning. It takes place in your mind everyday!!!!!!! 

The devil doesn't need to take your money or anything for that matter if He can take your mind.

Your mind is the Oval office(not sure what the Nigerian President's office is called🤔) of your life. That is where everything happens before anything happens.

I am fairly certain you now know a bit of how important your mind is. If not, read again😂.

The Bible says we should guard our hearts diligently for out of it flow the issues of life. What many don't know is in the Common English Bible Version, the same verse reads

More than anything you guard, protect your mind, for life flows from it.
Proverbs 4:23 CEB

Many times the word "heart" is used interchangeably with "mind". As a man thinketh in his heart(or mind) so is he.

Your thought life shapes your whole life.
Naturally, our thoughts are corrupt and evil(we have human nature to thank for that🙄) but thank Jesus for His sacrifice and the word of God by which we can(and must) renew our minds daily. A guest minister at my church last week said the mind of yesterday is too corrupt for today and today's for tomorrow.

In a nutshell, secure your mind, secure your life. Renew your mind by exposure to the word of God daily!!!!!!! There is no substitute for Word Time. No fast-food message however good can replace quality time in His word. So get to it folks!!!

Oh Yeah!! It's gonna be WAR!!!!!!

MIND. YOUR. MIND.

Respect the Anointing

Heyyy folks, welcome to an unusual discussion at an unusual time of the week too👀. I hope your week has been good so far. I bet if anything came to mind when you saw the topic of today's post, it was "we must respect men of God" or "the anointing you don't respect cannot work for you". Those are good and true but not today's context. Today I'm asking you to respect the anointing on YOUR life. Every child of God has an anointing on their life. You are the anointed of God as long as you have professed Christ's Lordship in your life. Many christians live less than fulfilling lives because they walk ignorant of the anointing and its purpose. God wants to use us (YOU reading this and ME) for amazing things in this world: To heal the sick, raise the dead, to restore, to build, to demolish amongst other things. Believe me, those who have and those who have not will be as distinct as night and day in the coming days.
