The Weapon of Worship

Good evening folks! It has indeed been a while. Your neighbourhood blogger is back and here to stay by His grace.

Worship Worship Worship!!!!!! We cannot cannot cannot do it enough. It's what we live to do(if you know you know). We were created alongside everything else to worship our awesome, faithful, excellent, wonderful and glorious Father.

I remember one time when I asked the Holy Spirit to teach me to worship, He said that he couldn't "teach" me worship and that it was my default setting. Worship is in our programming but so many of us malfunction on a daily basis.  We complain and murmur, never pausing to say sweet things to God, never appreciating Him for the loving kindness we receive in spite of our not deserving it.

What's funny is we do not rob God when we fail to worship, we rob ourselves. Worship is the answer to so many battles. The next time you feel overwhelmed whether by work or by "enemies" just pause and tell God how great He is and watch how everything changes (maybe not in your physical eyes) but in your mind's eye.

When the Israelites were doomed to defeat and were in great despair, they cried to God and what did God ask them to do? Pray from morning till night? Strategise and strategise? Go for seminars on how to defeat their enemies? NOPE, He asked that the worshippers went ahead of the army and as they worshipped Him what happened? GOD FOUGHT FOR THEM and not a single one of their enemies remained standing.

I urge you to adopt the strategy of "senseless" and "pointless" worship. It will do a lot more for you than you know.

Dear Lord, You are more than words can express. You are glorious in all your ways. You are a wonder. We can never hope to figure You out for even the works of Your hands have us baffled. We come only today to exalt and worship You for who You are and for what You've done. Accept our worship and forgive us for not doing it enough. Help us to please you in Jesus' name.

Thanks for reading. Let's share this secret with our people and raise an army of worshippers for our God.

Song Excerpt of the Week: From the pages of my heart, let my worship begin but never end to the God of all flesh... You are my God.
