God's Style 🤔

Heyy there, thank you for reading today. God bless you. I trust you've had a good weekend and are ready to take this new week by storm💪.

At my church, we've been taking a series "Hall of Faith: Lessons from the Elders" and we have taken different elders so far : Abel, Enoch and today we took a lesson from Noah.

Primarily the focus was on Noah and how he for several decades ignored ridicule and continued to do what to many was insane. He continued to build an ark of that magnitude in the face of ridicule and with no rain in sight. What great faith he had. It's worthy of note that this faith could only have come by experience got from personal fellowship (walking closely with God)👣👣.

Noah's faith and obedience in the story teach us many things really but they are not the focus for today. Today we focus on another character in the story : God.

God's specifics and detailed instructions in the story (Genesis 6) are astonishing🙆‍♂️. He told him how to do everything and Noah obeyed and was saved, he and his household👨‍👩‍👦‍👦.

There's actually so much to take away from this story regarding the persons of God and Noah. I'm struggling to keep this post in scope 😂.

Fast forward to Genesis 7

Then the Lord said to Noah, “Come into the ark, you and all your household, because I have seen that  you are righteous before Me in this generation.
Genesis 7:1 NKJV

I picked the NKJV because the way that verse is worded describes accurately in my opinion, God's style.  It says "Then the Lord said to Noah "COME into the ark...".

You don't tell someone to "come" in standard English if you are not where they should be or are headed. For God to have said "come", it meant He was already in that ark. Hallelujah somebadddayyy?.

The fact that God has shown Himself through the ages as the one who goes before you to where he has sent you is honestly reassuring if you think about it.

👉WHEREVER GOD SENDS YOU MY FRIEND, HE ALREADY IS.👈

You may be wondering "what if I was forced into this corner by situations and circumstances" like Daniel was thrown in the Lions' den. Well from that story we see that God had gone ahead of Daniel into that den and shut the lions' mouths. God is always before you and with you NO MATTER WHAT.

Trust God as you take that next step in faith. As you move houses, jobs, say "I do", start a business that God has sent you to, know that He Himself is already there waiting for you. Don't try to figure it out, just go with God and you will never regret it.

Respect the Anointing

Heyyy folks, welcome to an unusual discussion at an unusual time of the week too👀. I hope your week has been good so far. I bet if anything came to mind when you saw the topic of today's post, it was "we must respect men of God" or "the anointing you don't respect cannot work for you". Those are good and true but not today's context. Today I'm asking you to respect the anointing on YOUR life. Every child of God has an anointing on their life. You are the anointed of God as long as you have professed Christ's Lordship in your life. Many christians live less than fulfilling lives because they walk ignorant of the anointing and its purpose. God wants to use us (YOU reading this and ME) for amazing things in this world: To heal the sick, raise the dead, to restore, to build, to demolish amongst other things.
