Fear Not 😁

Hello there my dear reader. It's been longer than it should have been. I promise it was not social media distancing πŸ˜‚. I hope you are doing well and are at peace even with the mayhem unleashed on the world by COVID-19. Always remember 2 Tim 1:7 when fear tries to creep up in your spirit.

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].
2 Timothy 1:7 AMP

Whilst we are advised to take precautions and observe the guidelines presented by medical experts and advisers, there is a SPIRITUAL guideline that you need to adhere to if you want to not only survive this but thrive in the midst of this. There has to be a difference between those who know OF God and those who know God in this season. What side of the fence do you stand on?

Maybe the reason I had not written anything since the start of this pandemic was that I felt there was already so much talk about faith and prayer and being close to God that I did not need to say it too. I believe I was wrong and so I am here today to encourage you to pick up and put on the shield of faith in this season.

The truth is whilst the virus is dangerous to one's body, the fear behind it is a much more dangerous force causing people to err even fatally. The real pandemic here is the spear of fear. The enemy is having fun. I believe that just like Jesus saw faith in people and that attracted Him and miracles followed, the enemy will get you afraid so he can operate. You must regain your faith in God. Trust what He has said. If you don't know what He has said then you need to find out by searching the Scriptures and studying them. Don't be collateral damage in this war. Put on the armour of God.

Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to [successfully] resist and stand your ground in the evil day [of danger], and having done everything [that the crisis demands], to stand firm [in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious]. Above all, lift up the [protective] shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one .
Ephesians 6:13‭, ‬16 AMP.

Heavenly Father we thank You for who You are. We ask that You forgive us and give us peace in our hearts and in our world in Jesus' name (amen)

Have a great holiday folks! Make it count 😁

  1. Yes! We should not let fear creep in but just have faith in God and relax.
