It's Not That Bad?

Heyy heyy. I hope you had an awesome week. This week's post is short and also based on experience. In life, we sometimes hear stories of certain experiences people have had and inadvertently those stories colour our expectations for ourselves at those stages of life. The fact that someone else had it bad shouldn't make you expect bad for yourself. The Bible says the expectations of the righteous will not be cut short so we should always anticipate the best. You are not everyone else. "Bad" in the context of experiences is largely subjective so it may not be that bad. Also even if others had it bad, you as a bona fide son(or daughter) of the king have the right to speak what you want and then have it materialise. Whatever it is they've told you is bad or hard or whatever is not really as bad as you may think. So be positive. You can and will adapt and because God is with you, you will not just survive, you will thrive. Cheers guys! Same time next week by God...

You are My Rest๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Heyy there! The title of today's post comes from a song that I've fallen in love with "You are My Rest" by Dr Tumi( look for it and thank me later😊). This past week has been stressful both mentally and physically but like the song says God is my rest and yours too(if you know, you know really 😉). I know for sure that we all go through times that are overwhelming for us in our natural strength but God always sees us through (can I get an amen?😊). I want to use today's post not to reveal some deep mystery of the kingdom but simply to remind you to rest in God because He has you covered. You are not forgotten! God knows your name! Not just your name but your make, your situation, your history! And guess what! He holds your tomorrow!!!!! So don't fuss. For many of us if not all, we are crossing over to a new phase of life or did so recently and it can be really stressful and frustrating not knowing what's coming or if we...

What Really is Grace?

Bonsoir mon ami(e) Good evening my friend. I hope you had an awesome time between last week's post and this one. I know someone said "by God's grace I did". Now let me ask you what exactly is "God's grace"?. I'm sure you are likely to respond " God's Riches At Christ's Expense" or "unmerited favour". Apart from those two, there are many many many definitions one's mind can conceive of grace🤔. Be that as it may, I'm less interested in your mind's definition than your LIFE'S explanation of what grace is👀. You see there are probably as many mental definitions of grace as there are stars in the sky but when it comes to "LIVING" definitions, there are but two : "ENABLEMENT"; and "EXCUSE". When most people use the phrase "by God's grace", it connotes God's endowment, empowerment, power and whatnot which are tied to the ENABLEMENT definitio...

Trust and Obey?

Hey there! Greetings from above😁. I trust you had an awesome week and weekend. It's a new month so happy New month to you my favourite reader😁. "Trust and Obey?". Hmm where did that come from?. Let's have the backstory shall we?. Here we go 😊. I was quite bothered earlier today when I hadn't heard from my bestie (the Holy Spirit😊) what I'd write on this evening. This was unusual for me because usually it hit me during the week what I would write on during the weekend. Now it's not that I couldn't hear the Holy Spirit; I could. He just didn't say anything about the blog post for the week. I asked Him "bros how far naa? What will I write about today" and He said and I quote "You don't worry about that. It will hit you when the time is right. Trust me". A few more times I asked Him and He answered me differently every time but all His replies had one thing in common T R U S T ...

The Baptism

Hellooooooooooo good evening. I hope you had an amazing week and weekend. It's a new week; the last week of October and it's time to get things done!. Today, we discuss "the baptism". Now I'm sure you're wondering or guessing at which baptism I mean. You probably only know of two kinds. Well there are actually three: baptism into the body of Christ (first step), the baptism by immersion and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The agents are the Holy Spirit, the man of God and Jesus Himself respectively. Now that we've got a brief introduction on baptism, let's narrow the scope of our discussion. The baptism we'll look at today is the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Recently I've heard plenty on the subject and I thought to share. When you read the book of Acts, you see the beginning of the regime of the Holy Spirit here on earth. There's also reference to Jesus telling them of the power they would receive when the Holy Spirit is(was) come upon t...

He's Mindful of You

Heyy there! It's a new week and I hope you're looking forward to smashing your goals and hitting new highs (as you should 😊). During the week, a friend of mine replied a message I had sent much earlier and expressed dissatisfaction at how after he left only one of the members of our group reached out to see how he was faring 😔. Unbeknownst to him, we had been mindful of him, discussed how we missed him and maybe even said a prayer for him once or twice and that was what the Holy Spirit picked up on and got me to write to YOU about. So here my friend was thinking we didn't care whereas we did. We all should have reached out no doubt👀 but our failure to do that did not mean we did not care. However his not knowing this made him feel a certain type of way😔. Many of us feel abandoned at certain points in time; we feel like no one cares because we can't "see" the care or "feel" the love. Well my friend th...

Knowing His Voice ๐Ÿ˜Š

Heyy heyy! Welcome to this week's post 😎. I hope you had an amazing weekend  and are excited to smash your goals this week! This week we're discussing a key issue; an issue pivotal to the Christian living this life (I don't believe there's such a thing as a separate "Christian" life because that suggests there's another kind which in the truest sense there isn't 👀). It's  something you've probably heard over and over or maybe you haven't🤔. No matter👀. Today we're discussing "Knowing His Voice ". The "His" of course refers to "God's ". God's desire for us is fellowship and intimacy with Him and I know for a fact that there cannot be any of such without communication. Communication is always a two-way thing (at least). At any given time, someone gives information and the other(s) receive(s).  Communication with God is no different.  I know you're ...
