Some time ago, about Christmas last year, I lost an afro comb. I searched all over the house for it because my brother gave it to me and I really needed it at the time. Fast forward, three months later, I had already got a replacement which I was happily using. Heyy Heyy! Guess who's back back back back again 👀. It's been a while hasn't it! Happy Easter, Happy New Month.😁 I was having a conversation with God earlier this week and this was after I had offended Him (for sure😢). I asked for forgiveness and I was assured it was history and not the recorded kind😇. I was then forced to ask God "how come you never hold it against me/us when I/we mess up?, how do you always forgive us and not at least keep count" and then He blew my mind with His response "how many mothers keep count of the number of times they change their baby's diapers and maybe even get angry with their baby for messing themselves up". That answer simply enabled me to understand how it's possible to offend God so many times and He doesn't cut you off from the forgiveness subscription 👀. Studying(not reading)the Bible is such a key pillar of the christian journey. That's not what today's post is about but I want you to ALWAYS remember that. The difference between studying and reading as it relates to the Bible is the involvement of the Holy Spirit in your session. When you do not ask the Holy Spirit to explain to you, you shortchange yourself and are no different than an atheist who reads the Bible like a novel. By "asking the Holy Spirit", I'm not asking you to begin some meaningless ritual every time you open your Bible rather I want you to actually mean it when you ask Him for help because I can tell you for free that you are hopeless without Him on all counts.
