OMEGA!

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Revelation 22:13 ERV Heyyy there! It's been a while since we were both here. I hope you have been good. Today I want to introduce or re-introduce you to a friend of mine, His first name is ALPHA, middle name AND, last name OMEGA. Our Lord is the Alpha and Omega but what does it mean? "Ehn beginning and ending na". Yes but what does that REALLY mean?? We'll go step by step, Alpha means beginning, the start of it all. What does that mean relative to you and me? He was here before us. He knows what happened before we existed because before time itself, He was. If you see anything in your life that does not make sense, something you cannot trace the origin of, anything that makes you ask "how did I get here or get into this mess?", I want you to know that the Alpha can not only tell you where it all began but can get you out if you surrender it to Him. Often we worry about ou...

No Road!!! ❌

Heyyy there! Happy New Year! Better late than never right? 🤗. I was going to wait until February 1st to post this but I was instructed to post it today so someone must need to read this👀. Thank you for your readership. I do not take it for granted and if this is your first time, welcome and please do go through previous posts and be blessed. "No Road!!!!!!" Those were the words I heard as I drove onward towards my house🚘. There had been some construction going on on my street🚧. Interlocks were being laid and as the construction progressed, some portions of the road were closed. It was one evening as I returned from work in the dark of night that some well-meaning but misguided individuals yelled out "no road!!!" as I ignored and drove past because I knew where I was going. Inspiration came from that experience and I hope this gets you back on your feet. For those who still do not see where I have landed, let me ex...

Self-Examination πŸ‘“

Our Christian journey is neither easy nor smooth. Matt 6:14 tells us that the road that leads to eternal life has a narrow gate and a difficult way. It is possible to get off this journey without even realising it, that’s why it’s important to take time off periodically and do a self examination. 2 Cor 13:5 says we should examine and test ourselves whether we’re in the faith. Now, it’s not just about examining ourselves but making sure we do so using God’s word as our guide. This is the only true way as God rates things differently than we do. There are so many reasons why it’s important to examine ourselves and to do it the right way through God’s word but we’ll just look at one major reason which is : We’re more likely to focus only on the exterior things, and forget there’s more. We focus on the work for God and not the walk with God. To drive this point home, let’s look at the Sardis church. Rev 3:1, Jesus address...

Am I Really Saved?πŸ˜πŸ€”

Greetings my friend! It's another week and yet another month so happy new month as we say in Nigeria. I hope you had a good weekend. This post I believe is a reminder or reassurance (if you will) that your salvation is genuine. I am not talking to everyone but I believe I am speaking to someone that God wants to reassure of their inheritance in Him. As Christians we desire and try to please God daily(or at least I hope that's the case) but we are still flawed. We slip up in different ways and sometimes even the same way multiple times. It's easy to begin to doubt your confession of Christ as Lord, to doubt your salvation experience, your baptism in the Holy Ghost and all that you have experienced in Christ. I am here to remind you that ... it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. Romans 10:10 ...if you confess with your mouth "Jesus is Lord" and in your heart you have fait...

Accountability ☝️

Hello again (or for the first time). Welcome to another eye-opening(let your eyes open o😂) episode on the MOASS blog. Before we dive into today's topic, I want to say a happy birthday to two special friends/sisters of mine : Joan and Jessica Onotu. They are amazing and I pray that God blesses them immensely. ACCOUNTABILITY!!!! That word is one that makes many uncomfortable. "How can I give someone else the right to call me to order?" I imagine in our society, based on the construct that men find it harder to submit themselves to the authority of someone else. My brothers, listen carefully, YOU ARE NOT PERFECT, YOU NEED TO BE ACCOUNTABLE TO SOMEONE. This is not because you are weak but it makes you stronger and safer. This not-so-secret secret is very key to maintaining purity and sanity in our Christian walk. I encourage everyone to have at least one accountability partner to unburden to. When you have struggles of any kind, after talking to God to help, yo...

God Father or God the Father?πŸ™Œ

Hello peeps! How y'doing (go back and read that with a cooler accent 👀👀). I hope you are good. Last week was draining but God kept me and this week He will keep us in perfect peace in Jesus' name. Quick question: In whom do you trust? Before you rush to give me a religious answer like "God" or "Jesus" or "the Godhead", pause and think deeply. Who is that person that you think about and you are suddenly at peace concerning troubling situations? Another thing to think deeply about. My friend if your honest answer to any of those questions is anyone but God, you are setting yourself up for disappointment. What is this Nathaniel guy saying now? Nothing really but read this: This is what the Lord says: “Bad things will happen to those who put their trust in people. Bad things will happen to those who depend on human strength. That is because they have stopped trusting the Lord. Jeremiah 17:5 ERV I put it in the ERV for eas...

Freedom of Choice Vs Freedom From ChoiceπŸ‘€

Hello once again and welcome to another week. I'm glad you could make it here despite all odds. God is still in control. I just feel the need right now to remind somebody(maybe You) that our GOD is worthy of His name. Without further delay, I would like to discuss a matter that may or may not be sensitive to you. Essentially it's about the fallacy of the freedom that we have in Christ. Many people believe that the freedom Christ offers is freedom from choice but au contraire it is freedom OF choice not FROM it. What is this guy on about today? I'm talking about the fact that surrendering your life to Christ does not somehow remove or wipe away the burden and responsibility of Choice. It would be nice if as we said the sinner's prayer, sin and temptation died to us and we did not have any choice to make but THAT IS NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN(not on this side of eternity for sure). Jesus came to restore the power of choice. While a slave to sin, you had no choice. You had ...
