The Sovereignty of God🙌🏽

Hello there! If you prayed for me to be more consistent like I asked last week, then it looks like your prayer worked. Here we are again to learn. I still covet your prayers for grace to be consistent. Thanks in advance and God bless you.  This evening as I sought out what the Holy Spirit would have me share, He dropped "The Sovereignty of God" in my mind. I immediately looked in my mind to see if there was enough knowledge about sovereignty to write a whole blog post. I won't tell you what I found there 😂👀. After checking my mind, I decided to check the dictionary and I found one of the definitions to be "supreme authority over all things". Substituting the definition of sovereignty in our topic today, we are talking about the supreme authority of God over all things . If you take nothing else away from today's post, know this: God is the rightful Ruler of the universe. There is no contesting His majesty. All who have tried it have failed. He is worthy, H...

Red Light Christian? 🤔

Hello dear reader! It truly is good to have you here. It has been an eternity since I last wrote and I am sorry about that. I take full responsibility for my inconsistency and ask you to say a prayer for grace for me to be more consistent in Jesus' name. Now to today's business! Are you a "red light christian"? Before shouting yes or no, let me offer some context.  It was less than a week ago when I looked at my TV and saw a red light at the bottom right corner (yours may show it somewhere else). You surely know that when there is NO power, that light does not show. It only shows when there is power BUT it is not being used. When your TV is on, that is, when the power is working, it can better light up a dark room than when it is turned off because there is much more light being produced.  As I pondered this seemingly mundane fact, it dropped in my spirit that SO MANY of us (myself included) are red light christians.  Since you got the Holy Ghost, the active power of ...

Jacob's Well 🥵

Jacob's well will never do! Good (insert time of day here😁). I trust you have had an amazing weekend. I truly appreciate your readership and trust that God is about to cause a shift in your life. Jacob's well will never do? What do I mean by that? Well asides being lyrics to a powerful and I mean powerful! worship song on William McDowell's new album "The Cry", I mean the good things of this life will NEVER satisfy. If we all look carefully and closely at our lives, we are likely to catch ourselves seeking validation, worth, joy and fulfilment from something or someone. Deep down some of us find validation of self-worth in our career successes, relationships, academic achievements, accolades received for being talented and so on. I have just one question: How long can you run on that? How long can you go before you need another shot of "You are amazing" or "Congratulations " or "I love you" to keep going. Ask yourself...

Jesus' Love Language?🤔

Hello there! Good evening/morning/afternoon and thanks for reading today's post and always supporting by sharing. God bless you. In recent time, we have been exposed to loads and loads of information on relationships and how to make the most of them. If you have never heard of the five love languages before or do not know what your primary and secondary love languages are, then I suggest you invest some time in the needed research. Just to give a bit of background: the five love languages as widely known are Words of Affirmation, Acts of Service, Quality Time, Gifts, Physical Touch. These five are said to be the languages through which people perceive love generally. Why am I bringing this up? I was thinking a few days ago about God and how we tell Him we love Him and my mind was drawn to the love languages. I then asked myself "what would Jesus' love language(s) be?" In other words, how can I/we tell/show Him that we love Him. What do you think Jesus' love la...

Sinner or Not?🤔

Good evening dear reader! It's a pleasure to have you here again this week. I pray for the grace to be consistent again in bringing you a word from the Throne of the Master. This week I would like to ask you a question: ARE YOU A SINNER? You don't have to answer just yet but if you already did, I'll ask again soon and then you can change your answer. Most times we view sin as doing what is wrong and we are correct but only partially. How do I mean? The answer is in Scripture: Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it . James 4:17 NLT The verse above really is heavy if you ponder upon it. What this means is that SIN is not just fornication or adultery, lying or stealing, keeping malice or blaspheming. It also is KNOWING what we OUGHT to do and not doing it. Oh boy! There are many people (including myself) who sin daily without even knowing. I could even go so far as saying WE ALL SIN. There's more to discuss on this matter and we will disc...

Hang In There!

Hello! It's been a really long time since I wrote anything and I'm glad to be able to bring you something from God today. Once in a while, I feel an impression on my spirit man to share a word which is as I've experienced, a word in season. This is one of those "once in a while-s". This season I just feel the need to tell you to hang in there my brother/sister. I feel very strongly the need to encourage you in WHATEVER situation you find yourself. But keep your hope to the end and you will experience life and deliverance. Matthew 24:13 TPT Brethren these are trying times for many people but we are encouraged in Scripture to hold on, to hang in there, to believe God, to believe that faithful is He that has promised, to believe that He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it. I encourage you to just trust. I know it is hard. You just finished with undergrad schooling and things are not looking up. Your "mates and juniors " see...

When All Fails...

Hello! I am so glad you clicked the link and made it here today. I believe you are not here by accident my friend. Sometimes life can get really tough (can I get a witness?). The pressure to do and keep doing gets crazy sometimes. You just keep working in hopes that soon you can rest a little but it seems like the rest eludes you even more with every attempt. If you're like me, sometimes you wish you could pause time and live life without pressure even if only for a second. I am positive that you at one time or the other wished it would all stop. Many times I have complained about the stress and always having something that needs to be done but my Pastor told me that the reward for good work is more work (Maybe we should reduce the quality?? Just small na😂😂) Before I get sidetracked telling you about stress and stressing you even more, I want to share something I discovered/rediscovered recently: STRENGTH FOR LIVING IS GOT IN GOD'S PRESENCE. I want y...
